Introduction to Fossilized Calcium Carbonate Powder by Bakfa
Turkmen Sahra is located in the eastern part of Golestan Province and is endowed with rich deposits of a substance known as Fossilized Calcium Carbonate or Loomoshell. This material contains high levels of calcium in the form of carbonate, with a purity of 99% and 100%, making it highly valuable in various industries, including medicine, livestock, paint and paper production, and particularly construction.
Its unique properties have led to diverse applications, ranging from particle sizes and adhesion strength to compatibility with different materials, even exhibiting reactions to temperature, humidity, and laboratory substances. It's worth noting that this substance originates from the remains of fossilized marine animals, closely resembling human bone composition and containing some of the richest calcium compounds in the world.
One of the primary uses of this product is in the construction industry. Traditional sand and cement mortar lack thermal insulation, resulting in numerous thermal bridges and significant energy loss in buildings. In this regard, the powdered mortars produced by our company, with their very low thermal conductivity, serve as a suitable alternative to traditional mortars.
Bakfa Trading and Production Company is ready to supply and export this product worldwide, contributing significantly to cost reduction, structural efficiency, and environmental preservation in construction practices.
Key Features of Bekfa Fossilized Carbonate Powder:
1- Compatibility with Cement: It seamlessly combines with cement and other authorized additives in the construction industry.
2- Lightweight: Compared to traditional sand and cement materials, it significantly reduces the weight of construction, offering a substantial decrease in material requirements for wall plastering.
3- Easy Transportation: Packaged fossilized carbonate powder facilitates easy transport, occupying less volume than traditional materials and reducing environmental pollution by minimizing heavy vehicle traffic.
4- Insulation: This product serves as an effective insulation material, waterproofing surfaces due to its high resistance to moisture and water, making it suitable for bathrooms and pools.
5- High Adhesive Strength: The diverse particle sizes and the mixture with cement result in a product with exceptional adhesive strength, endorsed by the Ministry of Roads, Housing, and Urban Development.
6- Color Versatility: The raw materials of this product are white, allowing for color customization by adding a small amount of water. It comes in both white and gray colors, providing aesthetic options.
7- Water Conservation: With only 30% water content, this powder turns into a mortar, enabling the construction of walls, plastering, and tiling while conserving water resources.
8- Increased Construction Efficiency: The quick preparation of fossilized carbonate mortar, with only 30% water content, enhances construction speed, making it suitable for various applications.
9- Labor Efficiency: The ease of handling and application reduces the need for additional labor, leading to cost savings and increased construction efficiency.
Execution Method of Bakfa Fossilized Carbonate Powder for Wall Plastering and Insulation:
For Wall Plastering:
1. Mix water in an amount of 30% of the bag's content.
2. Combine the bag's content for 5 to 7 minutes using an electric mixer.
3. Clean and, if possible, moisten the desired surface.
4. Use the mortar within one hour of preparation.
5. Apply 3 to 4 millimeters of mortar for surface adhesion.
6. Initial setting time is 10 to 15 minutes.
For Insulation Plastering:
1. Mix water with the bag's content in a ratio of 25%.
2. Mix for 5 to 7 minutes using an electric mixer.
3. Apply a rotating coat on side walls after pulling 3 to 4 millimeters, then wait for 15 minutes.
4. Clean and moisten horizontal surfaces with carbonated or glass fiber mesh.
5. Apply a rotating coat on the surface after 15 minutes.
6. Wet tools with water during plastering.
For Tiling, Ceramic, and Stone:
1. Mix the bag's content with water in a ratio of 25 to 30% of its weight.
2. Use an electric mixer to mix and blend for 5 to 7 minutes.
3. Clean the desired surfaces from any dust and debris.
4. Trowel the prepared mortar onto the surfaces.
